North Colony and Macey Lakes Valleys

North Colony Creek trail is 7.5 miles long and beging at the South Colony Trailhead. It continues 3.5 miles through Rainbow Trail. It is considered out-and-back overnight backpack hike type.

Macey Creek trail is 7 miles long and begins at the Horn Creek trailhead. Strenuous one day hike. Two day trip recommended.

Bench Lake is the top of  the North Colony Lakes; "Colony Peak" divides South Colony and North Colony Lakes basins.
